PLAY FORMAT: Each game will last 7 minutes. Each team will consist of 3 players and can be of differing ages and coed. The field of play consists of a half-field with a mini goal. Cones will indicate the top of the box. Teams will be selected before the scrimmages and can be altered for subsequent games. Coaches will keep time and score.

TOURNAMENT RULES:
● Short sticks only (no goalie sticks, poles, or fiddle sticks)
● NO STICK CHECKS
● NO BODY CHECKS OR BULL DODGING
● NO HARD SHOTS
● SOFT BALLS ONLY
● EQUIPMENT: stick, mouth guard, face mask, sneakers (not cleats!), gloves optional (helmets, goggles and cups not required)
● It is up to the teams participating in the game to determine if any of the above violations have occurred; the coach or timer will make the final decision on any violations and will confirm scores.
● After each goal, the team that was just scored on is awarded the ball. Before resuming play, the offensive team must “check-it-up” to the top of the box. Turnovers also require a team to clear it up to the top of the box before proceeding.
● Depending on the skill level of the teams the coach or timer will determine how many pass completions are required before a shot can be taken. Standard is two passes minimum.
● The defensive team is permitted to allow a single player to guard the goal but may not interfere with the position of the mini goal.
● There is an assumed circular crease around the goal that only defensive players can enter, approximately 1 ft out from the goal frame in all directions. May be marked by cones during play. An offensive team entering into the crease results in a turnover.
